Peptide price per mg calculator

Free peptide price per mg calculator. Enter the price, coupon %, vial size and shipping for two vendors to see which is cheaper after the discount.

Compare two vendors after the coupon

Vendor A

Price after coupon$48.00
Price per mg$4.80
Per mg with shipping$4.80

Vendor B

Price after coupon$40.50
Price per mg$4.05
Per mg with shipping$4.05

Vendor B is cheaper by $0.75 per mg after the coupon and shipping.

The formulas

Price after coupon = regular price x (1 - discount / 100)

Price per mg = price after coupon / vial size in mg

Price per mg with shipping = (price after coupon + shipping) / vial size in mg

Use the same unit for every vendor. If one vendor lists a vial in mg and another in grams or mcg, convert first (1 g = 1,000 mg, 1,000 mcg = 1 mg).

Worked example: the bigger coupon loses

These two vendors are invented to show the arithmetic.

VendorRegular priceCouponFinal priceSizeFinal per mg
Vendor A$6020% off$48.0010 mg$4.80
Vendor B$4510% off$40.5010 mg$4.05

Vendor A has the larger discount, but Vendor B is cheaper after the coupon. Comparing percentages alone would pick the wrong one.

What else to check before you buy

Price per mg is one input. These decide whether a low number is actually a good deal.

SIZE

Compare like with like

Check that the mg figure is the amount of compound in the vial, and that you compare the same compound.

SHIPPING

Add it to the total

Shipping and free-shipping thresholds can change which vendor is cheapest.

COA

Read the certificate

Check that the certificate covers your lot and that the lot number matches the vial.

See current coupon codes by vendor on the coupons page, then run the numbers here.

SECOND EXAMPLE

When shipping flips the winner

These two vendors are invented. The numbers show why the calculator has a shipping box.

VendorRegular priceCouponShippingSizePer mg before shippingPer mg with shipping
Vendor C$50.0015% off$18.0010 mg$4.25$6.05
Vendor D$58.005% off$0.0010 mg$5.51$5.51

Vendor C looks cheaper until shipping is added: $50 x 0.85 = $42.50, plus $18 is $60.50, or $6.05 per mg. Vendor D costs $58 x 0.95 = $55.10 with free shipping, or $5.51 per mg. The vendor with the smaller coupon wins once the whole order is counted.

THIRD EXAMPLE

Bigger vials often cost less per mg

VialPriceSizePer mg
Small vial$45.005 mg$9.00
Large vial$70.0010 mg$7.00

The larger vial costs more in total but about 22% less per mg. Compare the same compound in the same form, then decide whether you need the extra quantity. Never judge by the sticker price alone.

AVOID THESE

Five common mistakes when comparing peptide prices

  1. Comparing percentages, not prices. A 25% code on a high list price can lose to a 10% code on a low one.
  2. Forgetting shipping. Free-shipping thresholds can change which vendor is cheapest.
  3. Mixing units. 1 g is 1,000 mg and 1,000 mcg is 1 mg. International units (IU) measure activity, not mass, so do not convert them to mg without the vendor’s data.
  4. Comparing blends as if they were single compounds. A blend’s mg figure may be the total of several ingredients. Ask for the breakdown before comparing per mg.
  5. Trusting a code that is not applied. If the cart total did not drop, the code did not work, whatever the banner says.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate peptide price per mg?

Divide the final price by the number of milligrams in the vial. For a $48 vial that contains 10 mg, the price per mg is $4.80. Use the final price after any coupon, and add shipping if you want the full cost.

How do I calculate the price after a coupon?

Multiply the regular price by one minus the discount as a decimal. A 20% code on $60 gives $60 x 0.80 = $48. A 10% code on $45 gives $45 x 0.90 = $40.50.

Is the vendor with the biggest coupon the cheapest?

Not always. In the example on this page the 20% code gives $4.80 per mg while the 10% code gives $4.05 per mg, because the second vendor starts from a lower price.

Should I include shipping?

Yes, if you want the real total. A cheaper vial can cost more once shipping is added, and some vendors offer free shipping above a minimum order. The calculator shows price per mg with and without shipping.

Does price per mg tell me which vial is better quality?

No. It only compares price. Purity and identity are shown by a certificate of analysis for the specific lot, so check that the lot number on the certificate matches your vial.

Does this calculator give dosing or reconstitution advice?

No. It only does price arithmetic. The products on this site are sold for laboratory research use only, and nothing here is medical advice.

Can I compare a blend per mg?

Only with care. A blend's mg figure can be the total of several ingredients, so two blends are comparable only if their composition matches. Ask the vendor for the breakdown before you rely on a per-mg number.

Does the coupon apply before or after shipping?

Most codes reduce the item subtotal and leave shipping unchanged. The calculator treats it that way: coupon first, then shipping added to the total. Check your cart in case a vendor works differently.

Why can a bigger vial cost less per mg?

Vendors often price larger vials at a lower rate per mg. A 5 mg vial at $45 is $9.00 per mg, while a 10 mg vial at $70 is $7.00 per mg. Compare like for like and buy only the quantity you need.

Is the cheapest price per mg the best choice?

Not on its own. Price per mg ignores purity, paperwork and shipping time. Treat it as one input next to the certificate of analysis for your lot and the vendor's delivery terms.
